History and Legacy of the Hospital

Founded in 1984 by the late Dr. Kamlesh Kesharwani (General Surgeon) and Dr. Usha Kesharwani (Gynecologist), BMH was established in memory of Dr. Kamlesh’s younger brother, Mr. Brijesh Kesharwani, a Merchant Navy officer who went missing during the Iraq-Kuwait War. This personal loss inspired the Kesharwanis to build an institution grounded in compassion and service to the underserved.

From its inception, BMH has been deeply involved in social welfare, offering free medical surgeries to the poor and organizing regular health camps, often graced by top UP cabinet ministers. Over the years, BMH has reached thousands through school health programs, awareness campaigns, and disease prevention drives.

Today, their son, Dr. M.K. Kesharwani, an esteemed Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in Delhi, continues this legacy by offering over 100,000 free orthopedic consultations in just the last two years. The hospital has also conducted:
